What we do
Practical skills and livelihood support for women, youth, and marginalized communities.
Training in apparel, sewing, fashion design, desktop publishing, hospitality, food and beverage service, information technology, jute production, and healthcare-related sectors.
Supporting widowed, single, and destitute women with skill training, income-generation opportunities, and sewing machine assistance.
Working with slum dwellers, tribal communities, Sri Lankan refugees, Narikuravas, and manual scavengers in Trichy, Erode, Pudukkottai, and Tirunelveli districts.
Collaborating with Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, TAHDCO, DAY-NULM, the Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Board, and the Tiruppur Exports Association.
Community impact
We support skill development training for slum dwellers, tribal communities, Sri Lankan refugees, Narikuravas communities, and manual scavengers in Trichirappalli, Erode, Pudukkottai, and Tirunelveli districts.
Training includes Assistant Fashion Designer, Sewing Machine Operator, Traditional Hand Embroidery, and Aari Work. We have trained more than 240 beneficiaries and arrange free sewing machines for beneficiaries. More than 120 sewing machines have been collected through departments and well-wishers' donations and distributed.
We collaborate with Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation and the Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Board to support skill training for widowed, single, and destitute women in Trichirappalli and Perambalur districts. We trained 15 women and distributed free sewing machines to 90 destitute women.
